Silent Meditation and Mindfulness

A day to step away from routines and busyness, to decompress, to center ourselves
Join us for a day of silent practice. We’ll intersperse thirty-minute periods of sitting meditation on chairs or cushions with yoga, stretching, and walking meditation.
Rick Okada will lead some simple Tai Chi practice.
We’ll begin with introductions and discussion of the practice. At other times, including lunch, we’ll observe silence.
At about 4:00 we’ll break silence and have tea together.
Time: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Cost: $20 donation from students, $40 donation from non-students
Lunch is provided.
